We’re recruiting for a Graduate or Assistant Minerals, Waste, and Environmental Consultant

Over the past five years, we have successfully expanded our expertise beyond our core minerals and waste service to all environmental planning disciplines – offering a single point of contact for industry and stakeholders.
Role overview
As a Graduate or Assistant Environmental Consultant, your role would centre around supporting the team in the preparation of planning applications, permit applications, and supporting statements across a wide variety of schemes, whilst providing support to specialist team members in their areas of expertise — such as environmental monitoring and environmental designation research. Recent projects, similar to those you would come across in the role, include:
Quarry restoration schemes delivering biodiversity net-gains
Mineral site designs
Mineral exploration and site searches
Recycling centres
Commercial redevelopment of brownfield land in sensitive landscapes
Experience
As we look to consolidate our rapid expansion, we need an individual who has:
A BSc/BA, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline (such as Geology, Town and Country Planning, Geography, or an Environmental Science).
Requirements
Ideally, our new team member would:
Have a full U.K. driving licence.
Have work placement or experience in consultancy or local authority.
Be working towards membership of the RTPI – such as Associate and, ultimately, Chartership).
Hold an MSc/MA in a relevant discipline.

Additional information
Location: Bingley, West Yorkshire or Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Start date: Immediate.
Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 – depending on experience.
